It’s 3:45 — (welaawa) thuna hathalis pahai
It’s ten to five — (welaawa) pahata dahayai
What time shall we go? — api kiiyatada yanne?
At five — pahata
hour — paya
minute — miniththu
second — thathpara
wait a moment — poddak inna; chuttak inna; dingak inna
It’s too early — kalin wadi
It’s too late — parakku wadi
Today — ada
Yesterday — iye
Tomorrow — heta
This week — me sathiye
Last week — giya sathiye
Next week — ena sathiye
Month — maasaya
Year — aurudda
Every day — hamadaama
Twice a week — sathiyata depaarak

How long does it take? — kochchara welawak yanawada?
It takes about an hour — payak withara yai
