Ternary communication using our eyes

We can communicate in ternary using our eyes.

For example,

  • winking with the left eye = 1
  • winking with the right eye = -1
  • winking with both eyes = 0

If you encode all the alphanumeric characters and other symbols as sequences of ones, zeros and minus ones, you can communicate by winking.

Then you can easily talk to each other during meetings, exams, and other occasions where you are supposed to be silent.

Happy ternary winking!
